DEMOLITION OF EXISTING LIDL FOODSTORE AND REPLACEMENT WITH NEW LIDL FOODSTORE

This consultation has ended. The consultation ran from 9 June 2017 - 7 July 2017

GVA, acting on behalf of Lidl UK GmbH, hereby give notice of the intention to apply for planning permission to demolish the existing Lidl retail foodstore and replace it with a modern and slightly larger ‘Lidl of the Future’ format retail foodstore, together with the rearrangement of the car parking and external areas.

The proposal is to demolish the existing Lidl retail foodstore and replace it with a modern and larger retail foodstore utilising additional land to the south and east of the existing site. The total site area of the proposed store would, therefore, extend to 0.98 hectares (2.42 acres). The proposals include the rearrangement of the car park, but do not propose any alterations to the existing point of access to the site.
