PROPOSED NEW RETAIL FOODSTORE

Union StreetGVA, acting on behalf Lidl UK GmbH, hereby give notice of the intention to apply for planning permission to demolish the existing on-site buildings and construct a new Lidl retail foodstore (Use Class A1), together with associated parking, landscaping and ancillary works at the site of Newsquest / South Wales Argus & DX Freight off Cardiff Road in Newport. The proposed scheme comprises the demolition of the existing buildings on the site to allow for the construction of a wholly new Lidl retail foodstore. The store will have a net sales area of 1,325 sqm and will be single storey, being served by a 140 space car park.
